The day before departure

So today dawned bright and sunny if a little frosty. We packed up Dave's little bag of goodies, medication and bed and he had to check we had everything before we left.

Why do I always feel so guilty at leaving him in the cattery (Cosy Paws) where he has a warm and comfortable room and bed and doesn't have to wander far to do his business? I know he will be fine.

Steve our house sitter was waiting for us when we returned and after showing how to work everything in the house we headed for a spot of lunch at the delectable Med One in town. The food never fails to delight us. On the menu today was Chicken Shawarma for me, Maqluba for Nigel and Kebab Halabi for Steve and stuffed to the gunnels we headed home.

After making sure the last few items were packed we headed for the airport where we checked in for our overnight stay. One hot chocolate later and we are now ready for an early night in preparation for our early flight tomorrow.
